Optional low-pressure recitals

Our recitals are awesome! We always use a giant grand piano, a beautiful recital hall and a professional accompanist if the student needs one. And yet, we keep them very low-pressure. Performing is an extremely important part of the learning process. It’s valuable for keeping a student interested, setting goals, and giving confidence that will flow over into other areas of life. But it can be scary to walk out on stage in front of a bunch of people to play. We don’t force it. Students are not required to participate. But, if they do, we make sure it’s fun and rewarding, and leaves them with a sense of pride in their accomplishment.
